Bishop Chartrand Recipient

The Bishop Chartrand Award is the highest, most prestigious honor given by Cathedral High School. The award is named after Bishop Joseph Chartrand, the founder of Cathedral High School, and Bishop of Indianapolis at the time Cathedral opened her doors on September 13, 1918. It is given in honor of his contributions to Cathedral and the Catholic community in Indianapolis.
